I was expecting to be disappointed - online hype is common, and mostly I avoid online clothing purchases as the quality can be rubbish - but from the moment I took these socks out of the packaging I knew they were just what I had been looking for. They are soft (inside and out), flexible (not stiff), roomy (not fitted like normal socks), and once I put them on they were genuinely warm. Hurray! I've no idea how they will be after washing, and it's slightly annoying that I will need to handwash them (they can go in a cold machine wash, but no point my running a whole wash for one item). However, so far so good and if they're as good as they are now after I wash them, then I'll be buying another pair and recommending them to others.
